Mortalities from heart failure in Australia have risen by 11 per cent since 2001. “Around 30,000 Australians a year are diagnosed with this largely preventable disease,” says Dr Rob Grenfell, Clinical Issues Director of the Heart Foundation. All the more reason to lace up and keep your ticker healthy.
