The two-time winner of The North Face 100 finished in 11:18 this year, smashing the women’s course record by 22 minutes
1 Winning I knew I was doing well when I was close on the heels of the fast guys – it gave them a good scare!
2 I celebrated with a long, hot shower. I was freezing.
3 Pet peeve Loose hair on race day.
4 The night before a big event I chat with family and friends about nerves and injuries – all in good jest – over a glass of red.
5 Superstitions None, but a kiss from my husband at the start never hurts.
6 Post-run fuel Hot chips with tomato sauce.
7 Inspiration In a race, the person in front of me.
8 Rave run I enjoy running in Jamison Valley, Upper Blue Mountains, NSW, where I frequently holiday.
9 Prized pals My dogs, Jack and Misty.
10 Day job Before and After School Care Director at Hornsby North Public School in Sydney.
