The City Run (formerly known as the River Run) is the second event in a two-event summer series (the Sizzlin’ Series), with each event visiting a separate segment of the Linear Pathway. The first event – the Sun Run (19 Jan 2019) – follows the Sturt River Linear Park. The City Run follows the Linear Path along the Torrens River, using the Weir Loop.
Participants who complete distances in both events are eligible to purchase a Series medal at cost ($10).
The City Run starts/finishes at Bonython Park (next to the kiosk) and follows the 7.5km Weir Loop along the River Torrens, taking in a few iconic Adelaide-an sites. Distances of more than 7.5 km will involve more than one loop.
